The event commenced with registrations, welcome remarks, and a formal inauguration, setting an energetic tone for the day. The keynote address by Remus D’Cruz offered valuable insights into how modern sports now sits at the intersection of culture, commerce, and community. He spoke about the increasing role of branding, storytelling, fan engagement, and media in shaping the global sports industry and creating exciting professional opportunities for the next generation.
One of the key highlights of the event was The Business of Sports panel discussion, moderated by Kala Anand. The panel brought together distinguished voices from the industry, including Pablo Tachil, Neel Shah, and representatives from GMR Group.
